Day
01. Mexico City
Assistance and transfer airport- hotel. Overnight.
Day 02. City tour with Anthropology Museum
Breakfast. We will go to historic down town, declared
World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will see the “Zócalo”
or main square, the Cathedral, the Government Palace with Diego
Rivera’s murals, where we will find five centuries of history
of Mexico. Panoramic view of some beautiful buildings as: Mining
Palace, National Art Museum, Post Office and the Alameda central
park, where the Fine Arts Palace is located. Head to Reforma Avenue
and Chapultepec area. Arrival and visit to Anthropology Museum,
one of the most important in the world. We will visit the Mexica
(Aztec) and Maya halls. You may stay there on your own or go back
to the hotel. We suggest an optional tour to Xochimilco´s
water canals. Overnight.
Day 03. Basilica of Guadalupe & Teotihuacán Pyramids
Breakfast. We will go to the Three Cultures Square at
Tlatelolco area. Continue to Guadalupe Shrine, the second most
visited catholic sanctuary in the world. Head to the archaeological
site of Teotihuacán, “where the men become gods”.
We will admire this advanced culture with the Sun & Moon pyramids,
the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Butterflies palace. Lunch.
Visit to a handicraft factory and go back to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 04. Mexico-Cuernavaca-Taxco
Breakfast. Departure to Cuernavaca, called the city of
eternal spring. Visit of the cathedral, built in 1520, and Main
Square. Continue on to Taxco, city recognized for its beautiful
colonial architecture and handicraft production of silver goods.
Lunch. Afternoon will walk around the down town to meet the Santa
Prisca church, which features a Churrigueresque façade.
This church was built by Jose de la Borda in 1751 then he said
“God gives Borda, Borda give back God”. Free time
to know its colonial alleys, plazas and galleries. Overnight.
Day 05. Taxco-Acapulco
Breakfast. Departure from Taxco to Acapulco. Arrival
at noon. Leisure time. Overnight.
Day 06. Acapulco
Breakfast. Yacht cruise, a three hours promenade through
Acapulco bay. Drinks included. Transfers to dock are not included.
In the evening do not miss the divers “clavadistas”
show at “La Quebrada”. Optional.
Day 07. Acapulco
Breakfast. Free Day for enjoying this world-known resort.
Day 08. Acapulco
Breakfast. Transfer to airport or bus terminal. End of
services.
